Our presence in Pakistan will not only strengthen our ties with local universities and colleges but also enhance the overall experience for our growing number of student members from Azad Kashmir and across Pakistan. By operating directly in the region, we can offer more streamlined support, ensuring our services remain accessible and responsive to the unique challenges faced by international students.
A Journey of Growth and Resilience
Establishing an office in a developing country comes with its fair share of challenges. Navigating the bureaucratic processes, adapting to a different business environment, and overcoming obstacles like corruption were not easy tasks. However, our perseverance, dedication, and belief in our mission have led us to this proud moment.
What once began as a consultancy firm two years ago has now evolved into a comprehensive support system for students and businesses alike.
Six months after its inception, Targeted Help launched a Student Support Arm in response to the growing number of students struggling to adjust to life in the UK. Many of these students faced difficulties navigating cultural differences, understanding their legal rights, and dealing with unforeseen financial and personal challenges.
Recognising the need for an accessible support system, we introduced our Student Membership Service. Through this service, students now have a trusted point of contact for guidance on a wide range of issues. From cases of student fraud, unfair landlords, and female grooming to legal working rights and general well-being concerns, our members receive the help they need without the fear of mounting legal fees.
Unlike traditional legal services that can become financially burdensome, our membership model ensures students receive quality support at no additional cost.
A Vision for Global Impact
This expansion into Pakistan is not just about opening an office; it is about expanding our vision of creating a safer and more informed environment for international students.
Founder and Managing Director Abrar Hussain Aziz expressed his thoughts on this important milestone:
“Setting up an international office in Pakistan marks a turning point for Targeted Help. This step will significantly enhance our ability to serve both students and educational institutions.
"It also paves the way for further expansion into countries where our current student membership base is growing, including China, Turkey, and the Middle East. Our goal has always been to offer unwavering support, and this new office will ensure we are even more accessible to those who need us.”
He also extended his gratitude to the Chambers of Commerce for their continued guidance and support throughout this process, “Navigating the legal landscape when establishing operations overseas is never easy.
"The expertise and support provided by the Chambers of Commerce have been invaluable in ensuring our expansion is both compliant and successful. We deeply appreciate their commitment to facilitating responsible international growth.”
A Stronger Future for Students
Looking ahead, our new office in Pakistan will serve as a crucial hub for student support. Students will now have access to personalised assistance closer to home, with dedicated representatives who understand their cultural and educational backgrounds. Our local team will provide resources, guidance, and immediate solutions to student concerns, making the transition to studying abroad smoother and more secure.
Furthermore, the establishment of this office will strengthen our collaborations with universities, colleges, and student organizations. By fostering these partnerships, we can create comprehensive support networks that benefit both institutions and students alike.
