Management Team
Dr Mohammed Adam Ali, MRSC (Director). Mohammed holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Salford - UK. He has more than 35 years’ experience in educational, analytical and environmental chemistry sectors, worked as a senior researcher and chemist in chemical industry for many years in the UK and have considerable experience in project management, analytical science and consultancy overseas.
Mohammed went to Africa (Sudan) in 2009 to set up a very successful network of industry, technology and consultancy related business and academic institutions that help to provide the transfer of services and knowledge to the country. When the war started in Khartoum on 15th April 2023, Khartoum wasn’t safe anymore, Mohammed contacted the British embassy for help. Mohammed with his family were evacuated urgently by the British government (as part of the UK government’s emergency evacuation of British nationals and their families) from a military base in Khartoum to British base in Cyprus, then to UK.
Mohammed was threatened with weapons by military forces, as they were trying to go to military base for the evacuation. In Sudan, Mohammed managed to established well-functioning office in Khartoum with 15 permanent staff, as the result of the war and security situation in the country, Mohammed’s personal belongings and all company’s assets were looted and stolen. Mohammed came to the UK with only his clothes. Now, he wanted to start again this new business entity with more determination, ambition and focusing on the long term and strategic goals.
Key Achievements
- Involved in building scientific and technical capabilities in Sudan by giving a range of courses within the training program that designed to meet the increasingly need for laboratory managers, scientists, chemists and technicians to demonstrate and to keep abreast with quality assurance issues and practices.
- Prepared Khartoum Refinery to implement ISO 170025 quality standard which resulted in providing confidence to their customers of quality, competence, safety of accredited jet fuel products (First time competing in global market).
- Project Manager for oily sludge treatment and disposal resulted in treating more than 5000m3 oily sludge (worth of 1-million-dollar contract).
- Built and sustained a successful partnerships and collaborations between the Sudanese and UK companies in a wide range of strategic and site specific environmental issues and scientific technical solutions (Environmental and oil waste management, Air quality Monitoring and hazardous chemical wastes).
