Following an extensive career in the public sector working for East Staffordshire Borough Council for over a decade, dealing with major and strategic developments. Charlotte is an established planner and specialist within development management, with a strong passion for the built environment.
Charlotte said: “I am thrilled to have joined Marrons’ strong, growing and positive team in Birmingham, and I am looking forward to helping build its name and reputation within the West Midlands market.
“I love the buzz of being successful on a scheme. The feeling of telling the client that planning permission has been granted and never underestimating how much that means to them – whether it be a family home or a commercial project for a developer, that feeling is extremely rewarding.
“I enjoy nurturing and growing a great connection with clients and understanding and appreciating their end goal."
Charlotte's strengths lie in co-ordinating projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
She said: "It is such a great feeling managing projects and problem-solving in complex situations to secure and achieve a positive outcome.”
Marrons’ roots are in planning, but the consultancy has since added urban design, socio-economics, heritage and architecture to its list of services. As part of its growth strategy, Marrons expanded into Birmingham in May 2022.
Andrew Gore, partner at Marrons, said: “We are delighted Charlotte has joined us, fulfilling another part of our commitment to meeting the needs of our clients nationally and, more specifically, in Birmingham. Her experience will substantially strengthen our planning team and the expertise available to clients.”
