In conjunction with the service, 'Carols at the Hospice' will take place before and after the event. Guests are invited to enjoy performances by Stratford Girls' Grammar School Choir and the Stratford Choral Society. There will also be plenty of festive stalls, mince pies and mulled wine. St. Andrew’s Church is adjacent to the Hospice, allowing attendees to easily participate in both events.
This year holds special significance as The Shakespeare Hospice celebrates its 25th anniversary of providing compassionate care to the South Warwickshire community. The lights will shine brightly on the Bridge Street Christmas tree in Stratford-upon-Avon to honour and celebrate the lives of those being remembered in our Light up a Life campaign 2024.
Community members are encouraged to make a dedication by visiting the Hospice's website. Dedications can include a favourite photo and a personal message, which can be shared with friends and family. Donations accompanying dedications will support the Hospice's ongoing mission to assist individuals affected by life-limiting illnesses.
