The Bidford-on-Avon shop will offer a wide range of high-quality items including clothing, soft furnishings, small furniture, books, new goods and bric-a-brac, providing shoppers with fantastic bargains while supporting a meaningful cause. All proceeds from the shop will go directly towards The Shakespeare Hospice, helping to deliver specialist care and support to patients and their families across South Warwickshire and the surrounding areas.
To celebrate the launch, the official opening event on 11th January will be a community affair, welcoming locals, hospice supporters, and shoppers to explore the new store and learn more about the charity’s work.
The new shop is part of The Shakespeare Hospice’s ongoing commitment to broadening its reach, providing the community with an easy way to support the Hospice while promoting sustainability through the reuse and recycling of donated goods.
“We are thrilled to be expanding our retail presence into Bidford-on-Avon,” said Becky Fuller, Retail Operations Manager at The Shakespeare Hospice. “Our shops play an essential role in funding the care we provide, and we are excited to bring this opportunity to the Bidford community. Not only will this new shop help generate crucial income for the hospice, but it will also give local residents a sustainable way to shop and donate.”
To help with the success of the new shop, The Shakespeare Hospice is looking for local volunteers to join the team. Volunteering at the shop is a rewarding way to give back to the community, meet new people, and support a valuable cause. No previous experience is necessary, and full training will be provided.
