LCF will support Home-Start South Warwickshire, alongside two further charities, Networkfour and Stratford Foodbank, which have both been its beneficiaries since 2022. All three charities will benefit from money raised from local events organised by LCF and additional support from Lodders.
Home-Start South Warwickshire supports local families facing emotional, health, and day-to-day challenges such as mental health difficulties, post-natal depression, isolation and physical health problems.
It provides vital support to families via a range of free services, from weekly home visits to childhood development courses and one-to-one counselling.
Home-Start South Warwickshire believes that ‘childhood can’t wait’ and so it aims to help parents grow in confidence and strengthen the relationships they have with their children.
Charity Operations Manager of Home-Start South Warwickshire, Ted Tuthill, explains: “Now, more than ever, families are struggling to provide the best possible start in life for their children.
“With LCF’s help, Home-Start South Warwickshire will be able to continue supporting these families through our network of community volunteers and other services. We are absolutely delighted to be working with LCF over the next two years, excited to see what fun activities will be taking place, and looking forward to working closely with the LCF Trustees to raise funds for our cause.”

David explains that the LCF is already planning its annual Family Fun Day which will take place on 21 May in Henley in Arden: “This will include a variety of fun activities for the whole family as well as the popular and regular LCF fundraising fixture, the Annual Dog Walk. The event promises to be a highly enjoyable day out for all the family, and we hope will raise plenty of funds for Home-Start, Networkfour and Stratford Food Bank.”
Law firm Lodders created the Lodders Charitable Foundation (LCF) in 2016 with the aim of raising vital financial support and providing help to local charities where it can make a genuine difference. To date, it has raised and donated more than £70,000 to independent charities.
