Over 900 delegates from across the globe gathered at the Sofitel Hotel, Heathrow, for four days of industry seminars, networking and awards.
The Global Water Summit is held in a different country each year, this year was the UK. Istead were chosen to deliver full technical production for the event, beating three London companies.
Istead’s onsite team of 24 built a 40m wide backdrop, incorporating a massive 15m ultra-wide screen, with two 6m wide side screens. The stunning opening video sequence was displayed over the screen’s 10 million pixels. Along with full staging, sound, lighting and camera set ups, Istead also provided AV equipment into 7 large breakout rooms.
With over 10 tons of audio visual equipment provided, and supporting over 300 presenters, it was a busy event to say the least.
