The delivery was made by Atlanta Palmer, HR Recruitment & Engagement Officer; Karen Kelly, Training Manager; and Joy Dolman, Warehouse Operative. The trio arrived with a truckload of gifts, spreading festive cheer throughout the hospital.
“It's not easy for children or their parents to be in hospital on Christmas Day, said Jez Jones, Paediatric Matron, George Eliot Hospital. "We hope these unexpected gifts will bring smiles to the patients and their loved ones”.
Atlanta Palmer added “This is just the beginning of our relationship with the George Eliot Hospital Charity. In addition to delivering more gifts for all patients before Christmas, we’re planning a year-long calendar of fundraising activities in 2025 to engage all our employees.”
Maria Holmes-Keeling of George Eliot Hospital Charity, expressed her gratitude for the partnership, stating, “We are so thankful for the support of our corporate partners, like Rhenus Logistics, who can make a real difference for our patients and their families. We look forward to working together to create lasting impact.”
