The appeal aims to provide the George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust with life-changing and life-saving equipment, improve patient care, and support staff wellbeing at the Breast Care Unit.
Participants will need to raise a minimum sponsorship of £1,500 per person. This covers return flights to Morocco, transfers, accommodation, food, and the guidance of local experts throughout the trek.
The George Eliot Hospital Charity team will be there every step of the way, offering support, advice, and guidance to help you meet your fundraising goal.
Ryan Ashby, who recently completed the Mount Toubkal Trek 2024, shared his experience: “Climbing Mount Toubkal on behalf of the George Eliot Charity was an unforgettable experience. With expert guides and friendly locals, the journey was enriched by warm hospitality and professional guidance.
"Though the climb was tough, it was achievable and rewarding. The breathtaking views from the summit made every step worth it, and the purpose of supporting the charity added significant meaning to the adventure. I highly recommend this trek for anyone seeking a challenging yet fulfilling experience!”
