The Chamber will host a post-election Economy & Skills Breakfast event on Tuesday, July 9, and businesses are being urged not just to get out and vote, but to share their experiences to help underline the key barriers to growth to decision makers.
Corin Crane, chief executive of the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “Although the election campaigning may be about to end, our drive to help businesses across the region unlock barriers to growth is only gathering momentum.
“It will be interesting to unpack the events of July 4 with our members at the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce our next Economy & Skills Breakfast event, which we are hosting just a few days after the election.
“Chamber members themselves are going to play a key part in helping us to maintain momentum in achieving our goals over the coming months and years. Not only do members help to shape our asks of Government, their stories and own circumstances are equally as powerful, and the more examples we can collate of both barriers to growth, the more effective our cause will be.”
Sean Rose, Head of Business Representation & Policy at the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, is encouraging businesses to get out and vote on July 4 and ensure their voices are heard.
He added: “We’re still encouraging businesses to engage with us on their barriers to growth and priorities for the next Government.
“Maintaining a strong dialogue is crucial at a time like this when objectives are being recalibrated, and we want to ensure the views of our members are taken into account.”
