Call for participants in hybrid work research

Coventry University's Centre for Business in Society is launching a 2-year project to investigate the effects of the rapid adoption of hybrid working practices in the UK since the Covid pandemic.

The project team, led by Dr Jason Begley, is seeking to invite local businesses to participate and involvement could take two forms:

Call for participants in hybrid work research
  • Membership of a steering group which will meet three times over course of the project, and would include the completion of a survey and interviews with senior staff.
  • Participation in a linked project focused on exploring the implications for graduates of beginning their working lives in hybrid roles.  As the researcher for this project I would like to interview either recent graduates working in hybrid roles, or more senior staff responsible for their training or line management.
Based on our findings, we will identify effective approaches to hybrid working and share recommendations for best practice with our partner organisations.  Participation in the project also offers local organisations an opportunity to influence teaching and learning at Coventry University to ensure that we are delivering up-to-date, industry-relevant education which will help to close the skills gap.

If you, or an appropriate colleague, would like to learn more about participating in either of these projects, please contact Catherine Skirrow at [email protected] (cc'd) and she will arrange an initial phone call to discuss next steps.  Catherine will be on annual leave between the 19th and 26th July.
