Harry, who started Coventry Coffee Company during the 2020 lockdown, partnered with Connor to meet rising demand. He said the collaboration is a major step fwww.coventrycoffeeco.co.ukorward for the brand, which is already featured in various cafes and bars throughout the region.
Now based in Southam, the company directly engages with coffee farmers worldwide and is poised to quadruple its turnover in 2024 after tripling its revenue last year. Its offerings include instant coffee bags, Nespresso pods, whole beans, and ground coffee.
The Coombe Abbey blend is available at the Artisan Market and features medium-roasted single-origin beans from Peru, sourced exclusively from the Alto Mayo region—a protected forest in northern Peru. Grown at altitudes of 1,200 to 1,900 meters, these beans thrive in a sustainable environment which supports the region’s biodiversity and cultural heritage.
Certified by Rainforest Alliance, Fairtrade, and Organic Produce, the blend offers tasting notes of roasted nuts, dark cocoa, and forest fruits, delivering a smooth, bittersweet finish.
Harry said he was excited about the partnership. He said: “We’re thrilled to work with Coombe Abbey and look forward to introducing our coffee to more people in the region. Growing a business comes with challenges, but this partnership marks a significant milestone as we enter an exciting phase.”
Ryan Hobday, retail manager at No Ordinary Hospitality, said the partnership was part of No Ordinary Hospitality’s commitment to supporting local suppliers. The organisation also collaborates with Baked Brownies in Rugby, The Barn at Berryfields in Meriden, Auntie’s in Coventry, and Blabers Wine in Fillongley.
He said: “Harry and Connor embody the qualities we seek in a supplier—passionate about sharing their product while providing a high-quality offering. We’re excited to celebrate Coombe Abbey in this way and encourage visitors to try it during their stay.”
