Keen to continue their business’s growth, but eager to stay at the same location, Nhat anh Ngyuen and his wife Chloe Tran decided to look for a second unit.
Ross Bendall, of Midlands-based commercial property specialists Holt Commercial, helped the couple find the perfect site in nearby Corporation Street to allow the business to expand and meet demand.
Nhat said: “We needed a second salon because the first was always so busy. We’re getting more and more customers every day.
“We started looking for a second site in August last year, but finding the right location has been really hard.
“Ross has helped us throughout the process. He was very patient and communicated with me and my wife really well.
“Without his help we would have given up on the search. He really was that helpful and we can’t thank him enough.”
Ross said he was delighted to support a local business in its growth.
“It’s great to see a small business thriving in this way and needing to expand,” he said.
“The space in Corporation Street is absolutely ideal and with considerable investment taking place in this area, it’s a very exciting time to be locating here.”
Nhat and Chloe have already taken on five new employees, but hope to eventually employ ten staff at the site in Corporation Street, taking the total workforce across both units to around 30.
They say an emphasis on customer service and social media has played a part in their success.
“My wife and I try hard to work with our customers,” Nhat explained. “We use social media quite a lot. I don’t think many people in our industry know how important social media is.
“We really focus on the client and providing excellent customer service as well as a range of amazing treatments.”
Chloe’s Nails’ highly-trained technicians offer a range of manicures and pedicures for women and men. They also offer acrylic and gel nails, nail extensions and bespoke nail art designs.
Holt Commercial is marketing further vacant space, in addition to the unit let to Chloe’s Nails, as part of the redevelopment of 36-42 Corporation Street which has included the opening of successful buffet restaurant Umami World Kitchen.
