The 300-metre course, featuring no fewer than 40 challenges and three different sections of bouncy mayhem, will take up residence inside the award-winning venue’s indoor arena for a month.
Bespoke packages for businesses are available on request by contacting the venue on [email protected] and a member of the team will be in touch to discuss requirements.
Members of the media, key stakeholders and Arena staff caught a first glimpse of The Monster, before it opened to the public, at a special sneak peek event last week. The first impressions were amazingly strong!
Sam Lee and Chloe Maddox, from Coventry, may not have been the first people to complete The Monster, but they were at least the first to enter its inflatable jaws.
"I'm 42 and really unfit and I managed it," Sam said. "Having said that, it wasn't easy. I feel like I've been to the gym! It’s great fun though.”
Chloe, 19, can see it being a monstrous hit with the public. "I think it will be very popular," she said. "It’s definitely well worth a visit."
Thrill-seekers start their journey on The Monster to the sounds of cheers and sirens with staggered entry in place to allow everyone to pass through safely.
The inflatable features 40 obstacles - including the Mega Slide, the Exterminator and the House of Hell – across three 100-metre sections.
The craziness is really cranked up at night when live DJs, wacky party games, street food and drinks are thrown into the mix.
Paul Michael, Managing Director of Coventry Building Society Arena, says the giant blow up, which enjoyed successful tours of Canada and Miami Beach in the USA last year, will be perfect for corporate events, family fun days, and birthday parties.
“We’re really proud to have lured The Monster to our venue,” he said. “With everything going on away from the inflatable itself, it’s the perfect place for businesses looking to book corporate events and team building sessions.
“Everyone who has been on The Monster says how much fun it is and that they can’t believe it’s here. There’s a really positive vibe. We’re looking forward to welcoming as many people as possible.”
The Monster will open every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday between August 1 and September 1.
Day tickets are £14.95 for adults. Themed evening passes, for over 18s, are £25 for those taking part on The Monster and £20 for adult spectators.
Group bundles, for up to six adults, are available for £125. Ticket holders have access to The Monster over one-hour slots.
