At the heart of the Inspirational Futures Programme is the belief that every student, regardless of their additional needs, possesses valuable contributions. We are dedicated to nurturing an environment where students can explore their interests, tap into their potential, and seamlessly apply their learning once they step beyond the realms of education. The initiative aims to achieve several key learning outcomes for our young people, ensuring they are well-prepared for the journey ahead:
• Increased Career Awareness: Through meaningful encounters with employers and immersive experiences within specific industries, pupils will gain a comprehensive understanding of various employment and career opportunities.
• Enhanced Career Planning Skills: Equipped with the ability to create actionable plans for their future careers, students will develop essential skills such as crafting effective job applications and CVs, bolstering their decision-making capabilities, and learning how to apply their education once they transition beyond the school environment.
• Elevated Attitudes and Motivation: The programme will empower students with the confidence to embrace their future aspirations. They will recognize their unique skills and strengths, fostering a heightened sense of motivation and optimism about the path that lies ahead.
In order to help young people achieve their goals and also help local companies improve their social impact and/or contribute to their corporate social responsibility strategies, we are looking to involve employers in Warwickshire and beyond in numerous ways.
