Around 150 guests visited the leading law firm’s offices on Olympus Avenue, Leamington Spa, for the latest instalment of the now traditional social event and were joined by forwards from rugby giants, Wasps.
An agreement was signed earlier this year under which Wright Hassall will be Wasps’ legal partner for the next five years with its name featured on this season’s first team shirt.
Players including Ross Neal and Will Rowlands came along to help serve drinks and collect raffle donations throughout the evening from the record crowd, who enjoyed a wide variety of Twisted Barrel beers and food from local street company Yumlaut, which specialises in artisan German food.
The event saw around £2,000 raised for Macmillan through raffles and a live auction, featuring a number of prizes including Wasps memorabilia and tickets.
Phil Wilding, Partner at Wright Hassall, said: “We had a record breaking turnout this year, with great support from external guests and our staff.
“It is a privilege for us to host this annual event, bringing together representatives of the professional services sector in the region and our team for a fantastic evening.
“We would like to thank Yumlaut for their service, I believe we ate every item they brought with them. Mick Leape and his team from Twisted Barrel also deserve a big thanks for bringing such a top quality selection with them.”
