The Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce held its Trade Local Business Expo at NAEC Stoneleigh which brought more than 800 businesspeople together from a wide range of sectors.
After a business briefing with the organising committee of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games which attracted an audience of 300, the main expo saw more than 140 exhibitors showcasing their goods and services to the region.
The Trade Local theme builds on the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce’s Go For Growth Trade Local campaign which aims to get more companies from across the region trading with each other.
Chris Nagle, the events and marketing manager at the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “We were thrilled with the event and it’s great to see so many companies committing to enhancing how much business they do locally.
“The Expo is a great opportunity to meet hundreds of other businesses from across the region and it highlights what a fantastic cross section of companies we have here in Coventry and Warwickshire.
“The more trade we can all do locally, the better it will be for the economy in our region and it’s something we will continue to champion.”
