The Round Table of Rugby (113), are very generously sponsoring two places on a First Aid Course in Rugby town centre. These places are open to anyone working for a registered charity looking to gain these potentially life-saving skills. The One Day Emergency First Aid Course is on Friday 15th February and will be delivered by RAS: Risk Advisory Service, approved NUCO Trainer. The course, which meets HSE's requirements, is a lively and fun day, making complex medical information digestible.
To apply for one of the two places, send an email to [email protected] detailing why you would like to have your place funded by The Round Table of Rugby. Your application should be sent in a covering letter detailing the charity you work for and what your role is, including the name, address of the CEO and Charity Commission number. Please title your email – Application for Round Table of Rugby February 2019.
Nisha Kaduskar the Director of RAS: Risk Advisory Service says ‘We are delighted to have the Round Table of Rugby on board as sponsors for the two places. It shows the continued commitment of The Round Table of Rugby to the charities and people of Rugby and of the RAS: Risk Advisory Service to deliver training where it creates the biggest impact.’
Malcolm Freeman from Rugby Round Table added “It is important that all workers including volunteers have access to first aid equipment and qualified people. The cost to obtain the necessary knowledge and advice can be costly which is why Rugby Round Table are happy to sponsor these places for each course held in Rugby. You never know when you might need first aid help, but will there be someone close by that knows what to do?"
