16 years International Medical Insurance expert, Geoff Maggs takes on the newly formed role as International Business Manager at Coventry based Health Matters, one of the UK’s leading Independent Employee Benefits Intermediaries set up in 1999 by Managing Director, Simon Hurley-Smith.
Geoff comes to Health Matters after spending 16 years working for some of the largest International Medical Insurance providers, gaining experience in the large corporate and SME sectors. With his vast knowledge of various Country rules and requirements around medical insurance, Geoff will be ideally positioned to grow the International corporate and expatriate client portfolio of Health Matters.
“I’ve enjoyed an excellent working relationship with the Health Matters team over many years and I’m very pleased to join the company at such an exciting time in its development. Having worked for several of the largest IPMI insurers over the last 16 years, I’m looking forward to using my knowledge and experience to provide expert advice to new and existing clients.”
Health Matters currently manages a range of employee benefits for 700 companies based throughout the UK. Services include the implementation and management of benefits such as Private Medical Insurance, Health Cash Plans, Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP), death in service and a range of Occupational Health Services.
