At a time of continued growth for the business and unpredictable business market conditions for the hospitality industry, the appointment aims to support the management team in providing outside objectivity, planning, operational and customer delivery excellence.

Related experience of the event and hospitality sector includes retail travel, airline, and tour operation businesses. He has held senior positions in corporate, start-up, turnaround and consultancy businesses, each varying in structure, people, cultural and day to day management.

He continues to operate at board level in a successful environmental services business while providing mentoring and non-executive director support to growing and developing businesses.

He has participated in the government Growth Accelerator programme, is a graduate and alumni of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 small business programme, a Visiting Fellow of Aston University and is currently in the final stages of his MBA.
