The relationship will see Prova deliver a bespoke service to the toy brand, featuring, amongst many, product placement activity, the supply of first-class copy to consumer and trade publications and delivering inspiring brand profile and partnership projects.
The appointment comes at an exciting time for PLAYMOBIL, as the popular brand increases its presence within the UK market. PLAYMOBIL has recently moved to brand new offices to support its growth and has expanded its licenced products to include more DreamWorks Dragons© and a brand new range - Spirit Riding Free©.
Jamie Dickinson, Marketing Manager at PLAYMOBIL, commented: “Prova came highly recommended, with some big brand consumer experience with the likes of MG, Honda, the World Rally Championship and VARTA Consumer Batteries. The team delivered an insightful and engaging pitch full of plenty of creativity and inspiration. We look forward to achieving some great results together.”
Aimee Postle, Director at Prova PR, added: “The Prova team is loving the chance to focus on our inner child and come up with creative ideas for this iconic and much-loved brand. The parents in the team will certainly be popular this Christmas! In all seriousness, we are all looking forward to helping the PLAYMOBIL team to make more of an impression, particularly around its work with the likes of the National Autistic Society and UK emergency services.”
Prova’s PLAYMOBIL contract win follows on from a successful summer in which the agency appointed new members of the team (Kate Harper, Abbie Ree, Luke Bull, Nicole Laffan and Rachel Fenning) as well as securing projects with the Texan motorsport business VP Racing Fuels and Canadian SaaS organisation RAPID RTC.
