Asian weddings for a range of different faiths can now be held at NAEC Stoneleigh after the centre partnered up with a specialist agency which manages weddings around the UK.
Monsoon Venue Group (MVG), which has helped run weddings with up to 1,000 guests, is working with NAEC Stoneleigh to organise and manage all south Asian weddings at the venue, including any that require specialist catering or equipment.
NAEC Stoneleigh’s size, versatility, onsite hotel and car park, as well as its proximity to Coventry, Leamington and Warwick’s south Asian communities meant it was an obvious choice as a venue for MVG to work with.
Managing director of MVG, Pav Shergill, said: “Asian weddings are some of the biggest and most spectacular events, full of beautiful cultural traditions and extravagant parties. They celebrate family, love and life.

MVG was founded in 2013 by Pav Shergill after she noticed a gap in the market for venues that could profit by South Asian events, but lacked the cultural insight into the diverse catering requirements of these groups, as well as lacking useful contacts.
The company became a bridge between these venues and its clients requiring an authentic ceremony and catering for their wedding.
Since its founding, MVG has gone from organising six events in its first year to expecting to exceed 100 events in 2019.
The company organises ceremonies from all faiths from the Indian subcontinent, and also facilitates mixed marriages between different faiths.
