Think massive inflatables, ridiculous giant costumes, foam, water and obstacles designed to slip you up every step of the way – then throw in a good dose of camaraderie, rivalry and the battle for the title of Myton It’s a Knockout Champions of 2019 - and you have the perfect recipe for a great Friday afternoon, out of the office.
Myton’s It’s a Knockout takes place on the afternoon of Friday 28th June at Leamington Rugby Club with family and friends invited to come along, soak up the atmosphere and cheer on the teams.
All money raised on the day will go directly to The Myton Hospices to help it continue to support terminally ill people and their families across Coventry and Warwickshire.
To take part in this fun-packed event, all companies need to do is get together a willing team of 8 contestants. Companies can enter more than one team. If teams sign up before Monday 15th April entry costs £40 per person, or £320 per team. After this date entry will rise to £45 per person, or £360 per team. Each team is also asked to raise an additional £460 in sponsorship which would be enough to fund an inpatient bed for one day.
A trophy will be presented to the team earning the most points on the day. The event is very generously being sponsored by Mazda Coventry and Leamington.
“Last year’s inaugural It’s a Knockout was such an amazing success and we are looking forward to it being even bigger and better this time around,” said Hannah Morris, Partnerships Manager at The Myton Hospices.
“We can’t promise the blazing sunshine again, although we’ve got our fingers crossed. But we can promise a fantastic team building afternoon of fun, foam and fundraising for a great cause – with the added advantage of an afternoon out of the office so what’s not to like.
