The programme of events sponsored by the firm at the 2019 Festival include an interview with celebrity author Prue Leith, and a talk from Dame Darcey Bussell, one of the UK’s most well-known ballet dancers.
The Festival, now in its twelfth year, runs until the 5th May 2019, with a packed programme of events staged at numerous venues across Stratford.
Lodders is sponsoring two flagship events, both at Stratford Playhouse.
On the 2nd May, Great British Menu and Great British Bake-Off judge Prue Leith showcases her latest novel, The Lost Son - the third of her Angelotti Chronicles - and talks to Jane Garvey of BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour about her life, career, and storytelling.
Lodders is also supporting the ‘Dance!’ event on 4th May, which features Dame Darcey Bussell, the retired ballerina and former Strictly Come Dancing judge. She will talk about her lifelong love of dance, how it all works on Strictly, and why dance can do so much to benefit mental health.
