David Lodder, Chairman of Lodders Charitable Foundation, handed over the cheques to FCN’s Charles Smith and Time Out’s Nick Keegan at a reception at Stratford’s Castle Fine Art Gallery.
Lodders launched its Charitable Foundation last year to support local charities where it can make a real difference.
This year, the Foundation has raised money from events including the flagship Lodders charity dog walk fundraiser, dress down days for Lodders’ staff at its offices in Stratford, Birmingham, Cheltenham and Henley in Arden, and through donations on Lodders’ stand at the Moreton Show and numerous Warwickshire point-to-points.
Lodders’ clients, colleagues and friends attended the Charity Foundation’s inaugural art gallery drinks reception, which is set to become a regular fixture on the annual events calendar, and at which a further £370 was raised through donations on the night.
David Lodder, Chairman of Lodders Charitable Foundation, said: “It is a great pleasure to be able to support such worthwhile charities. FCN and Time Out are both small charities which perhaps don’t get the recognition and support they need and deserve, and we are delighted to be able to make such a substantial donation to support their vital work and the support they provide.”
