The charity shop accepts donations and its furniture collection and delivery service has been increased to 5 days a week from Monday to Friday.
Avenue Farm, which is situated to the north of the town and is accessible via the Birmingham Road, opened in April 2012 and was recently given a loving facelift by volunteers from NFU Mutual using decorating materials provided by Brewers Decorator Centres.
Funds raised through the Furniture and Homeware shop play an important part in helping The Shakespeare Hospice provide caring and compassionate support to adults and young people living with a life limiting illness in South Warwickshire and the North Cotswolds, and those who matter to them.
Kirstin Wright of Avenue Farm said,
"The new Furniture and Homeware Shop’ has enjoyed a great start, with plenty of locals visiting the store.
The store will collect larger items of furniture from within a radius of 10 miles. Anyone with pre-loved items to donate, small or large, is asked to call 01789 205333 or email[email protected].”
The Shakespeare Hospice would like to encourage local people, supporters, families and visitors to Stratford upon Avon and the surrounding areas to come and shop at one of its charity stores and to donate pre-loved items. There are three stores in Stratford upon Avon including a Bookshop/Coffeeshop, as well as shops in Kenilworth, Alcester, Henley in Arden and Wellesbourne. All the shops are open from 9.00am until 4.30pm.
