Escape Live Launch their new room - Armageddon

Fearless thrill-seekers will be tasked with the crucial mission of preventing the destruction of Europe and the entire planet in a new escape experience in Coventry.

Escape Live Launch their new room - Armageddon

Escape Live’s third experience at its Fargo Village venue is Armageddon and is the first in the company’s new brand.

The narrative behind the new experience sees players given one hour to solve a series of clues and challenges to launch a nuclear missile in order to stop a meteor from causing global devastation.

It builds on the success of Escape Live in Coventry and is part of wider growth for the company across the region.

John Dalziel, owner of Escape Live, believes the region is now ready for the new task of saving the continent from obliteration.

He said: “While our Prison Break and Casino Heist rooms have proven very popular already, this new room will be our most dramatic yet.

“People taking on Armageddon will have the fate of not just Coventry, but all of the World in their hands!

“The concept of the game is that there is an asteroid is hurtling towards Earth. Scientists calculate it will hit Coventry and obliterate everything within a 3000 mile radius.

“Political and military leaders have a plan to avoid global disaster - launch a missile to destroy the asteroid.

“Unfortunately, an electro-magnetic field surrounding the asteroid has rendered modern digital missile systems useless. The only hope is to break in to the abandoned bunker, get the facility up and running and launch the analogue rocket in time!”

He added: “We want to keep pushing the boundaries of our experiences and to create new challenges for our players. It’s important to not stand still when it comes to escape game experiences because the industry is evolving rapidly.

“Escape Live has always been at the forefront of escape experiences in the region and Armageddon definitely builds on that."

Along with its rooms in Coventry, Escape Live has venues in Birmingham, Stratford and Southend in Essex, all of which are very highly-rated on sites such as TripAdvisor.

John said: “We’ve developed an offer that is great for families and friends as well as companies and organisations looking for a team-building exercise with a difference.

“Armageddon will appeal to all those audiences as it offers a fun-filled, exciting and nerve-wracking hour to save the day.

“And the fact that we now have three rooms in Coventry means we could have 18 people playing our experiences in the city at any one time.”

Armageddon is aimed at teams of two to six people, and participants should be aged 10 or older.
