Our designers were asked to reflect on our substantial 72 acre grounds designed by Thomas Mawson in the early 1900s. Contemporary designs have been used adding a modern twist that complement the architectural designs around the main house whilst utilising the natural light that cascades into each room through its impressive leaded windows.
Alongside the transformation taking place in the main house, we have been busy with a full top to bottom makeover of our Mawson’s Marquee, complete with brand new floor, carpet, drapes and lighting.
The extent of the refurbishment does not stop there - Mawson’s now has an entirely redesigned landscaped entrance with stunning pagoda entrance.
The refurbishment continues to move quietly onto our Garden Rooms Conference Centre, with minimum fuss and disruption to guests, and with the added contemporary, yet comfortable soft furnishings in place the venue is taking on a whole new look for 2019.
