England Under-20 and South Africa Under-20 are coming to Coventry for a crucial warm-up match ahead of their World Rugby Under-20 Championship campaigns.
The two countries have plenty of pedigree at this level. England have reached the last six world finals – winning three of them – while South Africa have made the knockout stages in each of the last seven years.
And it is likely that some of the players on show will be taking the step up to the full international scene in the next year or two, following in the footsteps of household names like Maro Itoje, Courtney Lawes and Joe Cokanasiga.
“Everyone at the club is excited to be hosting the best up-and-coming talent England and South Africa have to offer,” says Coventry Rugby chairman, Jon Sharp.
“An England game against the Springboks at any level is special and we are sure the city of Coventry will make it a night to remember when the Junior Springboks come to town.
“With Coventry's rich history in developing England internationals our fans will relish the opportunity to see the next generation of England stars as they complete their preparations ahead of the World Rugby U20 Championship.”
