Richard has a family farming background and joins with more than 40 years’ of experience advising farming businesses, rural estates and diversified family and corporate businesses.
His appointment bolsters the continued growth of Newton LDP since it was established just over three years ago. To date, the firm has facilitated land transactions worth more than £350 million, advised on more than 4,500 acres of strategic land for over 30,000 potential new homes and advised on more than 550 acres of commercial development land.
Rural and agribusiness advice has been provided across more than 20,000 acres of agricultural land in the firm’s first three years, and with demand growing in this space, it is an achievement Richard is hoping to build on.
