The hi-tech new additions have been placed in all of the conference rooms at the Brinklow-based venues as well as on the tables in the lobby.
It means that the days are gone where guests and conference delegates are trying to grab the attention of staff.
If anyone needs assistance, all they have to do is press a button, it then sends a signal to members of staff that are wearing a watch and they will come and help.
Ron Terry, General Manager at Coombe Abbey Hotel, said the introduction of the state-of-the-art technology would go further to enhance visitors’ experience.
“Coombe Abbey embraces its rich history and heritage, but is always looking to the future and finding new ways and technology to strengthen our guests’ experience,” he said.
“The idea is if a conference organiser or a guest in the lobby requires anything they press the call button which sends a signal to a number of members of staff who will be wearing watches that it sends a signal to, which means the guest does not have to leave their room or table.
“The call buttons and watches being used in this way are still fairly new, and we don’t think many hotels are using them yet, so it is another unique selling point for the hotel and what we can offer.
“We think they are a perfect new feature that will be of benefit to many people visiting or using our conference services.”
