21in21
Inspiring and enabling women to succeed in business locally
21in21 is an exciting new initiative delivered by the Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce to support women in business throughout the region.
Further developing on our existing, and successful, Chamber Women In Business Network, we are launching 21in21; a 12 month Mentoring Programme for women in business. We will bring together 21 senior female business leaders, including Entrepreneurs, Chief Executives, Business Owners and experts in their field from a range of sectors to offer mentoring and support to 21 women in business. Mentees may be aspiring women leaders, an entrepreneur or a young person interested in climbing the career ladder.
Would you like to be mentored by a senior business leader for 12-months?
A Mentor can provide an impartial sounding board, help and advice in your chosen career, encouragement and support, help with communication and confidence in the workplace as well as the opportunity to learn from Senior Business Leaders who have excelled in their field.
If you would like the opportunity to be mentored, applications open on Monday 1st February 2021. Click the link below to complete our online application form:
The 21in21 Women in Business Mentoring Programme is sponsored by West Midland Reserve Forces & Cadets Association.

We welcome mentee applications from anyone who feels they would benefit from the opportunity to engage with, and be mentored by, an experienced business leader from across a range business sectors and sizes.
The 21in21 programme will offer a quarterly one-to-one mentoring session with your allocated Mentor. The session will last for a minimum of an hour.
Should our Mentors and Mentees wish to meet more regularly then this is fine and will be at the discretion of the individuals.
In addition to the one-to-one sessions, there will be opportunity to attend events & workshops and further details and dates will be shared in due course.
You will be issued with a Mentee Handbook explaining everything you need to know.
We have now recruited all of our 21 Mentors for the programme. When we receive your application form for the programme, it will be reviewed by our Programme Lead, Keely Hancox, who will look at your application and match you with the most appropriate mentor.
The programme will launch on International Women's Day on Monday 8th March 2021. The programme will run through for 12-months, ending in March 2022.
The end of the 2021 programme will coincide with Coventry 2021's 'Amazing Women' month as part of the year as UK City of Culture.
Due to the current challenges of COVID-19 restrictions, we anticipate that all mentoring sessions, events and workshops will take place online.
The Mentor and Mentee will agree mutually agreeable dates and times for your one-to-one sessions to take place and the four sessions will need to be completed by March 2022.
Mentors and/or Mentees are responsible for finding a suitable online platform for the sessions to take place. However, if there are any issues, the Chamber of Commerce might be able to help.
No, this is a free programme and our Mentors are giving their time to support the programme at no cost.
At the end of your 12-months, there will be a celebration event to acknowledge the completion of your participation in the programme.
We hope that your time with your mentor will be productive and provide you with additional tools to drive you business or career forward as you would like to.
Each mentee can only remain formally allocated to a mentor for 12-months. However if the relationship with your mentor continues beyond March 2022, then that can be agreed between the individuals.
