22in22
Inspiring and enabling women to succeed in business locally
22in22 is an exciting initiative delivered by the Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce to support aspiring women in business throughout the region.
The programme, which supports aspiring businesswomen in Coventry and Warwickshire, is returning this spring after proving to be a major success over the past 12 months. Further developing on our existing, and successful, Chamber Women In Business Network, 22in22 is a 12 month Mentoring Programme for aspiring women in business. The programme brings together senior female business leaders, including Entrepreneurs, Chief Executives, Business Owners and experts in their field from a range of sectors to offer mentoring and support to Menteess who may be aspiring business leaders, an entrepreneur or a young person interested in climbing the career ladder.
Would you like to be mentored by a senior business leader for 12-months?
A Mentor can provide an impartial sounding board, help and advice in your chosen career, encouragement and support, help with communication and confidence in the workplace as well as the opportunity to learn from Senior Business Leaders who have excelled in their field.
If you would like the opportunity to be mentored, applications from potential Mentees open on Wednesday 2nd March 2022 and close on Wednesday 23rd March. Click the link below to complete our online application form:
Mentee Applications are now closed
We welcome mentee applications from anyone who feels they would benefit from the opportunity to engage with, and be mentored by, an experienced business leader from across a range business sectors and sizes. You must run, or work for, a business based in Coventry & Warwickshire to be eligible.
The 22in22 programme will offer a quarterly one-to-one mentoring session with your allocated Mentor. The session will last for a minimum of an hour.
Should our Mentors and Mentees wish to meet more regularly then this is fine and will be at the discretion of the individuals.
In addition to the one-to-one sessions, there will be opportunity to attend events & workshops and further details and dates will be shared in due course.
You will be issued with a Mentee Handbook explaining everything you need to know.
We have now recruited all of our Mentors for the programme. When we receive your application form for the programme, it will be reviewed by our 22in22 Programme Lead, Keely Hancox, who will look at your application and match you with the most appropriate mentor.
The programme will launch on Friday 8th April 2022. The programme will run through for 12-months, ending in March 2023.
Mentors and Mentees will agree mutually agreeable dates and times for your one-to-one sessions to take place and the four sessions will need to be completed by March 2023.
Mentoring sessions, events and workshops can take place in person or online. Your Mentor will let you know which is most appropriate depending on availability and location.
No, this is a free programme and our Mentors are giving their time to support the programme at no cost.
At the end of your 12-months, there will be a celebration event to acknowledge the completion of your participation in the programme.
We hope that your time with your mentor will be productive and provide you with additional tools to drive you business or career forward as you would like to.
Each mentee can only remain formally allocated to a mentor for 12-months. However if the relationship with your mentor continues beyond March 2023, then that can be agreed between the individuals.
