Dementia Cinema Club
Oakley Grange Care Home, Cox Gardens, Heathcote, Warwick, CV34 7AT

Free Cinema Club on 1st and 3rd Monday of every month. Our new cinema club is especially for people living with dementia and their carers.
Dementia friendly screenings offer a safe, social and supportive environment for you and your loved ones, as well as the opportunity to meet other carers and share experiences.
Oakley Grange will provide light refreshments for carers and their loved ones.

Coventry Cathedral Charity Day and Over the Edge Abseil
Coventry Cathedral, 1 Hill Top, Coventry, CV1 5AB
Date: 19 July 2025 - Free entrance and no need to book
On the 19th July 2025 Coventry Cathedral will be holding a Charity Day, celebrating 2 years of becoming a Charity. The Charity Day will grow year on year whilst supporting other local charities too.
Entrance is free to the event, and it is the first day of the summer school holidays with lots of interactive stalls, cake stalls, crafts, face painting and fun activities, lots of food available or bring your own picnic in the Ruins, and there is an ice cream van! Not only is the Charity Day free for everyone we also have free entry to the Cathedral and Ruins and Blitz Museum, with historians on site to answer any historical questions.
There are many inspiring visiting choirs on the day, and they are free to listen to. A great way to support your favourite local charities and have fun.
From the heights of this historic landmark, brave fundraisers are taking on the Coventry Cathedral Abseil challenge - scaling down its iconic walls to raise vital funds for the upkeep of the Cathedral and Ruins. Acoustic Afternoons at Mallory Court, with Barton Hollow

If the weather cooperates, this will be set up on the terrace overlooking our stunning gardens.

Mental Health Group Session
The Kenilworth Community Centre, Abbey End, Kenilworth, CV8 1QJ
Date: 21 July 2025 - 6:30pm to 8:30pm
SOS Silence of Suicide will be hosting its next free Mental Health Group Session on Monday 21st July (6.30 - 8.30pm) at the Kenilworth Centre.
Join us on the night, and you’ll be free from judgment, stigma, shame, and silence. It’s up to you whether you talk or just listen; there’s no pressure at all. Our group sessions are free and open to anyone who is:
- Experiencing mental health difficulties
- Worried about their mental health or that of someone close to them
- Supporting a friend or family member who is experiencing mental health difficulties
- The parent of a child with suicidal ideation If you are reading this and know someone who may benefit from a group discussion, please let them know – it may well help them get through another day.
Please only contact the centre for details about amenities, refreshments or disabled access. The centre is not responsible for taking bookings, so please contact SOS about this if you need any help. SOS meetings are on the ground floor, and the venue is directly next to a large car park.
