Clean Futures - "How to Reduce your Carbon Footprint" Workshop

This masterclass is part of a series of events run by the Coventry University Clean Futures Catalyst programme.
The Clean Futures initiative enables West Midlands businesses in the transport sector to adopt and develop sustainable technologies and practices through essential knowledge and guidance for growth and prosperity. Clean Futures is one of the 5 West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) Innovation Accelerators, funded by Innovate UK with a total of £33 million, set up to help drive forward the West Midlands Plan for Growth by supporting and accelerating innovation in cleantech, medtech and digital.
Clean Futures is partnering with Auditel to offer SMEs in the West Midlands transport sector and its supply chain this 1-day workshop.This workshop will be an important first step in helping organisations on their journey towards Net Zero, providing a high-level overview of their carbon emissions and carbon reduction guidance.
Many organisations believe the changes that they will have to make to achieve net zero carbon emissions will be time-consuming, costly and with all the conflicting information, a little daunting. This is far from the truth, as there are many incentives to help businesses become greener and leaner without costing the earth.
What you will be required to do prior to the workshop:
This is a premium opportunity and all participant SMEs must complete a survey to allow Auditel to calculate a high-level overview of their carbon footprint. This survey will cover data on:
- Scope 1 emission sources (e.g. fuel purchases)
- Scope 2 emission sources (e.g. electricity consumption)
- Relevant scope 3 emission sources (e.g. employee commuting data)
You will be required to submit this data to Auditel no later than two weeks prior to the workshop to allow your registered to be confirmed.

How to Write Compelling Copy Workshop

Using the right words can make all the difference as to whether someone chooses to buy from you or not. Lindsay Woodward is not only a marketing expert, but she also has a degree in Writing & Media.
Using this combination of skills, she will be teaching you how to master your marketing copy.
In this course attendees will:
- Learn how to find the right words to describe their business
- Learn how to structure their work to capture readers
- Understand the key mistakes that people make and how to avoid them
- Leave with ideas and content that you can use instantly to improve the words around your business
- Be able to ask the key questions they have about writing
If you struggle with writing content and you want to learn how to do this better, then this half day course will help you vastly improve your skills.
