David Hooper, an accomplished international trade professional with over 20 years of experience, is the Managing Director of Hooper and Co International Trade Consultancy Ltd and Director of Independent Freight Solutions Ltd.

His expertise lies in providing training, advice, and consultancy to businesses engaged in international trade, specialising in customs, logistics, and the practical aspects of global commerce.

David's influence extends to advising government bodies, such as the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), Chambers of Commerce, and other intermediaries involved in supporting importers and exporters. His extensive knowledge and practical insights have made him a valuable asset in shaping policies and providing strategic guidance to various organisations.

Additionally, David serves as Non-Executive Director of Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce. His role involves contributing to the strategic direction and governance of the Chamber, ensuring that it effectively supports the needs of its members engaged in international trade.

David holds a distinguished Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Aston University, along with a degree in Politics, Economics, and Philosophy. His academic background, combined with his extensive professional experience, equips him with a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of global commerce and the challenges faced by businesses in the international trade environment.
