Role Overview:
As a Part-Time Bookkeeper at Eskuta, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day financial transactions, and supporting the finance team to ensure the business's accounts are up to date. This role offers flexibility, with the option to work from home, the office or hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Transaction Management: Process and reconcile daily financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and summaries for management review.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring invoices are issued, processed, and paid on time.
- Budget Tracking: Monitor and record budget expenses, making sure financial practices align with company objectives.
- Document Organisation: Maintain organised records of financial documentation and ensure easy retrieval for audits and financial reviews.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and other departments to support financial planning and decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in using accounting software (Xero, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Education: A relevant qualification in finance or bookkeeping (e.g., AAT or equivalent) is preferred.
- Personal Traits: Reliable, organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
