Applying for a Government Start-up Loan
There are a few things you need to do before you can apply for a Start-up Loan. Take a look at the advice below before taking your first steps.
- Check your eligibility: There are certain criteria you must meet to ensure that you are able to apply for a start-up loan.
- Prepare a detailed business plan: Your business plan should be sufficiently detailed to show why you need the start-up funding for your business.
- Prepare a cash flow forecast: You will need to have a three-year cash flow forecast detailing your proposed income and expenditure for the business. It will also need to demonstrate how you are going to repay the loan.
- Complete the application form: As well as completing the application form, you will also need to collate personal information, bank statements, proof of address, proof of ID and a credit report.
