Description
PET-Xi is one of the largest providers of intensive training courses at schools and businesses across the UK. Since its launch in 1995, PET-Xi has worked with over 100,000 youngsters in England and Wales at more than 500 schools to help students reach their academic potential and provide inspiration not to give up on their studies and improve their career choices by boosting their confidence.
In the 2016/17 academic year, we ran 923 courses for 18,385 students from Northumberland to Cornwall, helping students move from GCSE grade D-C primarily in maths and English.
On our innovative High 5 revision courses where learners move up a grade, we had a 94% success rate in helping students move from a grade D to C at math’s GCSEs and a 100% success rate in English GCSEs where many students succeeded their C grade targets by achieving As and Bs.
In 2016, PET-Xi launched its Apprenticeship Scheme which in its first 12 months placed 60 young people in employment and achieved recognition as a Skills Funding Agency prime provider.
The company practices what it preaches since PET-Xi offers career opportunities with 30% of its staff being apprentices. PET-Xi delivers results which lead to grades that young people, their parents and schools are proud of.
