Warwickshire is the birthplace of famous playwright William Shakespeare and a number of his properties still stand for visitors to experience history first hand.
Coventry has hosted Jaguar cars from 1928 to date, due to the booming manufacturing industry that Coventry was renowned for.
Surviving WW2 and rebuilding from the ashes, Coventry has a mix of poignant architecture that dates back to the 12th Century and is now being re-purposed for local enterprises.
Leamington Spa and Warwickshire have been at the forefront of the gaming industry totaling over 10% of the UK's game's development.

From pioneering the weaving industry in the medieval period, to hosting Jaguar Cars in 1928 (and continuing to till this day), Coventry’s rich history shows how business goes hand in hand with creativity. Coventry and Warwickshire has always been the home of invention, innovation, heritage and art, and we at the Chamber are delighted to be based at the center of it.
In 2021 we are expecting over 1,500,000 people to visit the Coventry and Warwickshire area and we are greatly looking forward to building on our diverse homegrown businesses and connecting with new ones. It is our goal to support a cohesive relationship between business, heritage and creativity in our sector and work alongside UK City of Culture’s programme of dynamic events. The Chamber has continually advocated and encouraged growth for local businesses for more than 100 years, and will continue to do so in the exciting times ahead.
